I have moved to a better home!  Not that Joeuser wasn't a good one, but a lot of my friends would tell me that interface with JU was too daym boring. I guess blog readers, to keep on coming back to some blogger's site  (in addition to intellectually stirred) must likewise be visually stimulated. So I know I need to work on some HTML and a whole lot of those techie embellishments. Anyway, I am exploring the wonders of Front Page to make things possible. But for now, as I ...

In anticipation of the Chinese Year of the rooster, here's the 2005 prediction for all you "dawgs"!!! aights!!!

For the Dog,

Overall

For those who are working or with their own businesses, this will be a good year for you to shine. There will be high hopes for a promotion and pay rise this year too. Wealth luck will be moderate so gamble less and do not over spend. There will be profits in the second half of the year in business trading. As for your health, many problems like st...

This is one of my favorite 'senti' songs. Off the "Sweet November" soundtrack, it's the best music to cradle my insomniac self to deep slumber. Wish there was someone who could sing this to me ..

Wherever You Are
Celeste Prince

Time has come, what's done is done
It's time to move on
To another place, another space, maybe circling some other sun
Don't ask why, don't ask how
I still can't explain
To say goodbye, goodbye for now till I see you again

In the sunlight that's where I'll be
In the moon night close your eyes, you will see me
In the sunrise in the twilight I'll be the morning and the evening star
I will be there with you wherever you are

Life is stran...

What the world needs now is love, sweet love

It's the only thing that there's just too little of

What the world needs now is love, sweet love,

No not just for some but for everyone.

Lord, we don't need another mountain,

There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb

There are oceans and rivers enough to cross,

Enough to last till the end of time.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love

It's the only thing that there's just too little of

What the world needs ...

This one's a very inspiring read from the international best selling author Paolo Coelho. Hope you like reading this one.

Closing Cycles

By Paolo Coelho (the author of THE ALCHEMIST)

One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through. Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters - whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the ...

Heavenly Father,I pray with all the men and women of good will that You bless everyone who have been so badly hit by this devastating disaster. I pray that You heal our bruised bodies and souls as we see these horrible images of death and destruction. Father, it is so heart-wrenching to hear stories of lost loved ones, orphaned children, starving and dying peoples. Let us be instruments of Your love and mercy to reach out to them. In these hard times, we still thank You, Father, that we se...

Time really flies, and it's the third day of 2005..everything seems back to normal. But I still have a hang-over of the past week's events..from images of tragedy and victory all across Asia. New Year's was a joyous celebration for us. '04 surely was a year of personal, familial and social turmoil, but I still feel blessed that we have survived all these. I celebrated with my family and friends, and we all enjoyed pigging out inspite of a thousand unburned calories sitting on our fat pockets.

It's really hear-breaking to hear these stories when everyone should be merry in celebration of the Christ's birth. I've known Rita since my stint as Liaison head in 2001 through ECOSOC's alumni e-group. She vividly describes her own experience when that devastating tsunami hit Phuket, Thailand. She was there spending the holidays with her husband and their little daughter.  Here are some images captured by Bunan's (Rita's husband) lens.        &...

It's 10 PM...two days before Christmas and I'm here in the office. I just finished my second phase of Christmas shopping. Too bad I won't be able to wrap all the presents for my folks in time for the traditional Kris-Kringle on Christmas eve. But I'll try to get everything done by tomorrow morning. Daym! Why do I always have to rush all these things?! Anyway, I'm really excited about tomorrow's festivities, and I know it's going to be very special. My brother won't be with us this year 'coz he's...

I don't know what the great deal is with these private vids of (in)famous celebs spreading like a meningococcemia strain on email. I mean, I know everyone in their secret lives have manifested their hidden exhibitionist tendencies, but come on...can people just stop feasting on this crap like some Nora Daza's Maja Blanca Especial? Well, had I recovered from the trauma upon seeing Cristy Fermin's and April Boy Regino's version of "private scandal," I would have had a different perspective...mwaha...
